The Rachael Taylor Studio is excited to be offering online individual portfolio reviews! Rachael & Kelly are thrilled to be able to share their expert knowledge & support to help you improve your art portfolio & land those dream gigs & clients.

Please note: This is not a face-to-face portfolio review. You can book that as part of our online 1:1 Creative Coaching Sessions. This is a pre-recorded review but rest assured this will still be bespoke & tailored to your requirements.

What can I submit?

Once you have placed your order for your review you will be contacted by [email protected] with the below information (please add this email as a safe sender).

Please choose from the below submission options:

1. Your art portfolio

2. Your last client pitch portfolio

3. Your art portfolio + a link to your most used social media account*

4. Your art portfolio + your website*

5. Your art portfolio + a link to your most used social media account + your website*

*Please note that if you want to submit options 3 – 5 then the time spent will be split between your portfolio & the additional options. If you send only a portfolio all of our time will be spent reviewing that in more detail.

What can I include in my submission?

Your options:

A curation of your most recent artwork
The most recent work that you pitched when reaching out to a potential client (optional: including the email you sent them)
Descriptions of your intentions for each artwork or collection
Your inspiration &/or mood boards
Market, client & customer research
Colour palettes
Your most recent full design collection (with your artwork shown individually & together as a collection)
Mock ups of your artwork in use
Photography of your artwork on real products
Work you are struggling to finish or progress with
Artwork that has been rejected or not caught the attention it deserves

What are the submission specifications?

We will accept pdf submissions or online links. Please ensure that your images &/or pdfs are good quality so that they can be easily reviewed. If you wish to send high resolution images or pdfs, then your copyright will be fully protected & they will only be seen by Rachael & Kelly. Anything you send will stay completely confidential.

How & when do I submit my portfolio?

You may submit your portfolio to [email protected] in whatever way is easiest for you (e.g. email attachment, Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, via an online link etc.) Please send this within 1 week of the date you made your booking. This is to ensure we have enough time to assess your submission & record & edit the video in a timely manner.

What will I receive?

You will receive an up to 30 minutes comprehensive video review of what you have submitted. The length of the video will be dependent on how much you have submitted but it will be max 30 minutes. Your work will be pre-reviewed by both Rachael & Kelly to provide bespoke advice, but the recording will be made by one member of the team.

We will also send any follow up support, including tailored for you bonus resources, contacts, discounts from us & our creative partners, a community group invite & any additional follow up support discussed in your feedback.

How will I receive my review & when?

This will be made easily available via an online Dropbox link within 3 weeks of your booking, depending on when you have submitted your portfolio. We request that you download this as soon as possible & confirm that you have received it.

£149 = one portfolio review video.

This includes:

The time it takes to assess your portfolio by both Rachael & Kelly & record & edit your review
An up to 30-minute review video recorded by either Rachael or Kelly
Tailored to you follow up support & bonus resources based on our feedback of your portfolio
An invite to our amazing FREE creative community group

You acknowledge that you will receive your review within 3 weeks once you have followed the guidelines above & submitted your portfolio correctly & on time (within 1 week).
You acknowledge that the reviews are for an up to 30-minute session & that the length of the session will depend on how much you have submitted. Unfortunately, Rachael & Kelly will not be able to go over 30 minutes for the review video.
Rachael or the studio team will provide a follow up email with any additional support needed. Although Rachael & Kelly wish to help you in any way they can, they cannot responsibly offer any more time to answer further questions outside of the portfolio review.
Refunds can only be given in extreme circumstances & at the sole discretion of the studio team.
