Rachael Taylor is a multiple award-winning Print & Pattern Designer, Creative Director & Mentor, based in Liverpool UK, working globally across brands & products.
Her studio practice spans print & pattern design for homeware, fashion, stationery, lifestyle & interiors, with licensed collections & international collaborations. Her work is defined by expressive use of colour, playful energy & distinctive motifs designed to help brands & products stand out & connect.
Her creative perspective is shaped by travel, culture & a love of retro inspired, quirky design, with inspiration drawn from Cuba alongside her British & Scandinavian heritage. All of this informs her evolving visual language.
Rachael’s award-winning, multidisciplinary & innovative practice seamlessly spans from initial concept through to refined, finished design, encompassing thoughtful product development & visually compelling campaign execution. Over her career she has delivered exceptional design commissions, licensing projects & creative collaborations for many brands & organisations including Grand Designs Live, Adobe, ITV & more!
Alongside her design practice Rachael is a bestselling author, speaker & creative mentor supporting designers worldwide through one-to-one coaching, portfolio reviews & career strategy ebooks, known for her honest, supportive, & down-to-earth approach.
She is the former Co-Founder & Lead Instructor of Make it in Design where she taught over 40,000 creatives across 100+ countries & also hosted the beloved Make it in Design podcast.
Rachael is also the author of Power Up Your Creativity a practical guide to building a confident & sustainable creative practice.
