Happy Times – 5 Inspirational Tips! Hello lovely followers! In the Rachael Taylor Studio, we’re all about the happy times. While life can get hectic, busy & sometimes stressful, we always like to remind ourselves to focus on the things we love. Today we are setting ourselves a little challenge with a big impact: to take time out each day, whether it’s five minutes or an hour, for some happy time. While we’ve got a few things that suit our idea of happy, everyone is different! So feel free to change it up – as long as it’s what makes you feel your best! To help inspire you, here’s our list of five happy-time ideas that you can try too: 1) Put the kettle on & get brewing! We don’t mean just any old brew, either – grab your most favorite teapot & mug, along with your most loved tea, & take a sit down. Whether this is in your bed, favorite chair, at work, or even a cafe, just enjoy it. Feel free to add biscuits. 2) Crack open your old recipe book stogged with your most loved savoury one-pots & sweet bakes. Make yourself something something super yummy, paired with your favorite wine or hot drink. Enjoy it to the fullest & remember…the dishes can wait! 3) Remotes ready? I’s time for a TV or movie binge! Whether it’s an all-day event, or a single episode of Corrie, give yourself a few moments to put everthing aside & get whisked away in another world. 4) Blow the dust off that book shelf, it’s time for a new read or another look at an old favorite! Turn down all the pings, dings, and rings & get your nose deep into a novel. Take these few minutes to *quietly* enjoy some adventure, drama, romance, or laughter. 5) Get creative! Whether you love to doodle, DIY, craft, knit, write, scrapbook, or make music, dedicate some time to your artsy side. It’s easy to let our creativity fall by the wayside, but let’s make sure it doesn’t! Set aside time for even tiny creative accomplishments. And there you have it!
