Interiors Roundup – Décor Trends for Kids!

Hello everyone!

Welcome back to Interiors Roundup! If you have a summer project coming up that involves redecorating a space for your baby, toddler, or pre-teen, you’ll LOVE today’s post!

We’ve had a browse through some fabulous blogs, online magazines, pinboards & more to find the latest trends in children’s rooms, ranging from newborns to kids in their early double-digits. As you might have guessed, interior-obsessed folk all over the world have invested tons of their style sense & creative energy into making their little one’s space just right.

One trend that is definitely at the forefront right now is clean cut, scandi style rooms, meaning lots of geometric shapes, plenty of cute & cuddly woodland animals, contrasting textiles & colour schemes featuring lighter shades like white & grey (often complimented by pale blue, peach & orange tones)!

Another popular feature, especially for toddler rooms, are reading & activity spaces. These are often in the form of nooks, corners, teepees, or bunk-bed conversions decorated with fairy lights, little piles of books, lovely imagery such as clouds & raindrops & bunting too.

All in all, there’s no questioning that your little one’s space can contribute a lot to the look & feel of your home. Not only that, there’s a good chance that you’ll be spending quite a lot of time in their little rooms, so it’s important that you enjoy spending time in there too!

Here are some of our favourite images from around the web this week – we hope these help you gather some inspiration for your own projects too!
