Colour Inspiration – Lovely Retro Cars!

Hello Everyone!

Welcome back to the RT blog for some more creative inspiration & positive vibes!

One of the best parts of summer is all the colour that comes about – from the flowers, the bright fashion choices & the vibrant ice cream cones, we love it all!

Another brilliant & colourful side to this season (especially in quaint seaside towns) are all the vintage buggies, Volkswagens, convertibles & mopeds that collectors take for a spin in the sunshine! This year we’ve seen some lovely vintage vehicles that take us back to the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s, often in lovely pastel or electric colours that really inspire us!

Today we’ve found a fab collection of vintage vehicles (all taken from our Pinterest Likes page) that make a lovely collection of summery colours. We think these are a wonderful source of retro pattern inspiration too & would make for some amazing colour swatches! We especially like the pastel colours like mint green & dusty pink, as they remind us of yummy summertime treats like milkshakes, ice cream & candy floss!

Even if you’re not a big lover of cars, we think these bright photos help demonstrate how creative inspo is all around us & we just have to be open to seeing it!
