Halloween Inspo – 7 Creative Make-Up Ideas!

Hello everyone!

Welcome back to the Rachael Taylor blog! It’s hard to believe that Halloween is just around the corner – we couldn’t be more excited to be celebrating this fun (& spooky) time of year!

Aside from having heaps of sweet treats in the house, one of the best parts about Halloween is how much creativitiy it encourages. For a start, it’s a holiday that calls for lots of imaginative decorating – some of us like to hang webs & ghouls to spook trick-or-treaters, while others like to fill their homes with Autumnal touches like carved & decorated pumpkins, seasonal bunting & spiced candles.

Another creative aspect of this fun-filled holiday are the costumes. More & more each year we’re seeing people in elaborate fancy dress. From toddlers to senior citizens, so many love to get involved & become someone (or something) else for one night of fun!

Since we love to share creative & artistic inspiration with you all, we thought it would be a good idea to post some lovely Halloween makeup. Don’t worry, we’re not talking about your run-of-the-mill clown here – we mean really artsy face painting involving unique artistic make-up (or painting) techniques, plenty of texture & lots of colour! Some of the examples we found are cute, while others are a bit creepy! But what’s Halloween without a few scares?

Ultimately, we think face painting is a fabulous way to express some creativity & do something out of the ordinary.
