Interiors Roundup – Giant Knitted Goodies!

Happy Thursday Everyone!

Welcome back to another Interiors Roundup post – we hope you’re feeling cuddly & cosy today because we’ve got some amazingly beautiful wooly creations to share!

If you follow Rachael on Instagram, you might have noticed a fun trend in her studio: giant things. From giant button, a huge pair of scissors, a mega-safety pin & quite possibly the biggest ruler you’ve ever seen, we’re a fan of giant, fun decor in the RT studio.

With that in mind it’s no wonder we are LOVING the giant-knit trend sweeping Etsy & handmade markets alike! If you’re not familiar with giant knitting, it’s exactly what it sounds like. Crafters all over the world are using their giant needles & wool to create huge, cosy blankets, furniture covers, hats, rugs & more!

Aside from being outrageously snuggly, we love these giant knits because the patterns are gorgeous & amazing for adding some texture to a space. When amplified, the classic knit creates a gorgeous, visually stunning effect that suits nearly every decor style. We are seriously in love!

As with many of the latest interior trends, we spotted the latest giant knits on Instagram. Here’s a peek at some of our favourites – some of us in the studio are even tempted to start our own giant knitting projects! It looks like so much fun. We found a great website called Wool Couture which supplies giant wool & needles too – just in case you were looking.
