Meet Rachael at New Designers + Fun Competition!

We hope you’re all having a fabulous week! The Rachael Taylor studio team are having a blast attending New Designers 2017 & are excited to invite you along to see Rachael’s talk & meet both RT Team & team Make it in Design today! MIID also have a fabulous competition ongoing that we encourage you to take part in!

The Talk!

In case you missed our post on Tuesday, Rachael will be joining The Design Trust’s Start Up Day TODAY which is a full, information-packed speaker event for recent design & craft graduates. Speaking at 11AM, Rachael’s talk will delve into what it takes to make it in the surface pattern design industry! Come along to hear Rachael talk about what it REALLY takes to make it in design while she also shares some top tips, practical advice & her own story of how she has made it this far.

If you cannot attend the talk, you can find us on Stand A6 near the cafe in the London

The Creative Competition!

The Make it in Design team are also hosting a fun & creative competition that they’d love for you to take part in! This involves four fabulous days of doodling, as each day of the show there will be a different doodle theme at the stand. Visitors are then invited to do a quick doodle in response to the themes:

Wednesday 28^th – Dots / Thursday 29^th – Flowers / Friday 30^th –Trees / Saturday 1^st – Mark Making

The entries will then be displayed on the MIID stand and across social media! Each day one winner from the daily theme will be selected to receive a complimentary place on the fabulous Summer School 2017 on a track of their choice!
