Tuesday Inspo – #paintedrocks!

Welcome back to the Rachael Taylor blog! We hope you all had an amazing Monday & are looking forward to the rest of the week.

If you follow Rachael on Instagram, you may have spotted that she’s been spending some time working on her dream garden studio, all as part of the #rachaeltaylorgarden & the #rachaeltaylorrenovationproject. Between colourful cupboards, bespoke vinyl floors, hand-painted bird houses & a gorgeous combination of botanicals & flowers, Rachael has been adding tons of colourful touches to her garden.

Today we wanted to share another creative & colourful garden project that’s sweeping Instagram & craft-lovers all over: painted rocks! From huge boulders to tiny pebbles, loads of painters, doodlers & illustrators have been using rocks as their medium & we absolutely love their colourful creations! We really love the variety in detail & style across the #paintedrocks & #globalrockpainters tag – it just goes to show how much fun & creative fulfilment you can have with a few basic supplies.

Here are some of our favourites, but we encourage you to have a look across IG to get inspired! Whether you like quirky & colourful or something minimalist & chic, there are tons of ways to paint / decorate rocks for your garden or indoor space.
