The Art & Business of Surface Pattern Design

Here at the studio we are getting super excited for the next big launch of ‘The Art & Business of Surface Pattern Design’ (the e-course). We are thrilled to be launching a brand new full series on April 29th.

The course has been running for nearly 18 months now, can you believe it!? It has been an amazing journey & we feel blessed to have worked with so many inspiring people. Our students really have joined us from all around the globe (over 30 countries!) They have gone to become world renowned designers; attracting prestigious licensing deals, securing freelance work, winning competitions & regularly becoming favourites with the press & industry peers.

Our alumni is truly astounding & we would like to thank every one of them for being so dedicated & rising to the challenge. The design industry can be described as competive at times but our ABSPD community are so supportive & encouraging towards one another, which is really great to see!

The surface pattern industry is booming right now so it really is a great time for our talented graduates & our fabulous ABSPD family.

I’ve been reflecting recently, as last week was the 5th Anniversary since leaving my full time job to pursue my own dreams. What an exciting roller coaster it has been! I feel so grateful! I never expected in a million years that I would have the honour of working on so many great projects. It goes to show that if you really put your mind to something & never give up the magic can really happen!
