Artist Review – silverridgestudio

Happy Tuesday! We have some gorgeous watercolour prints from silveridgestudio to share today, a studio which was set up by the very talented Cate Parr. Cate is in love with design & offers original, independent art to suit everyone.

Before setting up the studio Cate worked with collage on editorial illustrations for various publications such as The Washington Post & The LA Times. Since then Cate has come along way having worked in costume design & is now represented by a contemporary galleries in London & Sydney.

We just adore the fluid, sweeping brush strokes & the intensity of the watercolours she uses.  Cate’s description of her art as “pure energy in wet running colour” really does sum up her elegant style.
