Artist Review – Charlie O’Sullivan

Some gorgeous paintings to share today from the talented Charlie O’Sullivan, a devon based artist who works our of her studio in Bigby. Since she was small Charlie has always loved to paint as “a way of escaping” which she still gets to do just on a larger scale. Charlie “worked hard at something” she loves to do which she finds “satisfying & rewarding”. Charlie desribes her process as “a very solitary activity” in which her paintings “become a conversation with myself”.

We love Charlie’s use of vibrant colours & distinct shapes, motifs & added pattern elements & we find that each of her paintings really tell a story.
