The Design Trust Start Up Day at New Designers!

We are excited to share that we will be taking part in The Design Trust Start Up Day at New Designers on Thursday 26 June 2014! Beth Kempton, co-founder of Make it in Design with Rachael Taylor, will be there to talk about MIID, ABSPD & provide creative business tips & advice. I (Kelly – Rachael’s Design Assistant) will also be on hand to help out & to answer any design or pattern related questions.

On the day from 10.30am to 4.30pm you can join more than 25 organisations & businesses to receive useful insights & advice on online marketing & selling, studio provision, business support & selling opportunities, legal/intellectual property, finance & funding & much more.

This event is aimed at recent design & craft graduates & anyone thinking about starting a creative business or become a freelancer, or any creative sole trader or freelancer who wants to get practical business advice. There will be opportunity to meet with many of the experts after their panel discussions or talks for further questions or networking. You can join one specific session, or you can come and join us for the entire day. It is preferable to book your tickets in advance, so we can monitor popularity.
