Artist Review – Jessica Hogarth

Today I wanted to share with you the beautiful & contemporary new ranges from one of our very own Make it in Design tutors Jessica Hogarth. I’ve always admired Jessica’s design work, her use of scenic imagery & bright uplifting colours.

It really has been a busy & exciting year for Jess who is exhibiting at Harrogate Home & Gift this July, on stand G121. She also launched nearly 50 new cards at PG Live in May and now has cards to cover all manner of occasions from Christening to Birthday. The designer is also offering some of her most popular coastal cards as prints, which can be personalised by location for individual stockists.

“I have collaborated with UK firm Deva Designs and have a Christmas gift wrap and bag collection launching with them later in the year (image attached). Gift wrap is a product I’ve wanted to design for for a while now, so it’s been brilliant getting the chance to collaborate with Deva, and it’s great that their wrap is printed in the UK.

I was thrilled to launch my Yorkshire Bike Ride design earlier this year as a wallpaper through Graham & Brown, which is now on sale worldwide via their website. You can buy my print, card and tea towel version on my Etsy shop in a special sale bundle for only £17. 

It has been a fab year for so far for freelance collaborations  – watch out for a special collection launching with the RNLI this summer. I collaborated with the famous Lifeboat charity to create an entire product range which includes stationery, bone china mugs and textiles. I’m so excited about this collection, and it has been a thrill to work with such a high profile charity. The products will be available through a mail order catalogue as well as in Lifeboat shops across the UK. I also collaborated with Lithuanian brand Happeak to have my designs put on to clothing. My popular Coastal Cottages design is now being worn by children and adults alike across Europe!”
