Weekend Inspiration – Chester Zoo

It’s been a hectic few weeks at the studio lately prepping for Surtex NYC so it was really nice to just take some time out on Saturday to re charge my batteries & get my creative juices flowing again. We visited Chester Zoo & had such a lovely family day out. I’ve always been a fan of Chester Zoo & in my opinion it really is the best in the UK to visit; not only is it laid out exceptionally well it has all been designed so beautifully. As much as I love to see the animals I often find myself adoring all the plants & gardens. We also visited ‘The Islands’ section for the second time & I would highly recommend checking it out. It was such a lovely day with the sun shining & it truly felt like I had escaped to an exotic retreat that made me feel like I was on holiday. We love the zoo so much that we actually became official members. Since moving to Liverpool it’s been so great to find that the zoo is only a 30 minute drive away, I was always such a big fan of it from my childhood days of growing up in the Wirral.
