Bespoke Lampshade

Hello everybody. Today I’m sharing with you an exciting bespoke lampshade project I recently worked on with the amazing Lampshade Parade!

Ever since I created a gorgeous orange version of my popular ‘Bohemian’ design for my wedding I’ve been in love with it. For the wedding I had quite a lot of fabric printed to create a table runner for our cards & gifts table & I’ve been wanting to create something lovely with the excess material for ages.

Since building my outdoor studio cabin I knew I wanted to decorate it with unique & statement designs (like the bespoke floor vinyl & the bespoke cupboard handles) & I thought that a large lampshade would be perfect for the space. I was so excited when I found Lampshade Parade as all of their shades are so beautifully crafted & as well as offering their own designs, you also get the option to send them the fabric yourself for a shade to be made up. They even have lots of differently shaped shades available!

When choosing the shade to apply my fabric design to, I knew I wanted quite a large size for the ceiling of my studio & so I decided on the 50cm size. The walls are all white & a blank canvas so I knew this design would really pop! I even briefed Katrina from Lampshade Parade to add a bright yellow pom pom trim. I felt like this really made the lampshade feel like me & it felt so fun & original in it’s style.

I’m so impressed with the quality & attention to detail that Lampshade Parade showed & I can’t recommend them enough. Katrina was so friendly & was so helpful with figuring out the delivery options.
