Make creative magic this summer

Summer is a time for fun adventures & I also think it’s a great time for creativity. The sun creates such a positive environment to spark ideas, so let’s seize the opportunity! Below are some creative tasks to get you started.

VISION BOARD TASK

• What do you want to accomplish this summer, whether that’s personally or for your career?
• Are there trips you want to make, events you want to attend or family adventures you want to go on?
• Is there a creative skill you’ve been dying to learn, a product you want to try designing for or goal you want to reach?

Put it all down on a vision board for the summer, pin it somewhere you will see it often, & let it motivate you!

Summer is such a good time to get out & about, visit local parks & gardens, & capture some colour palettes from nature. You never know which combinations might inspire your next design or collection!

FUN ADMIN TASKS

Have you updated your social media recently? Now is a great time to fill your feed with summery artwork, behind the scenes in your summer studio & lovely sunny photography.

Is your blog & website up to date? Make sure it reflects your current work.

Could you refresh some of your product photography for the season? The sunshine & abundance in nature right now will make perfect backdrops.
