CELEBRATE 6 years with us!

6 years of fun!

Happy Monday! I am so amazed & excited to be able to say that I have been in business for 6 years & can’t believe how much fun it has been! I have been lucky enough to do what I love every day.  Each week is still so unpredictable as I work on a multitude of projects from fashion prints through to teaching & creating typographic art. I’m truly grateful for every opportunity & for your on-going support.

Back in 2008, I decided to fly solo & leave my full time, in-house design job. It was a huge risk that was unnerving & challenging but one that really paid off! It really does show that whether you want to follow your heart or change your path in life that if you ‘dream’ & ‘believe’ you can ‘make it happen’!

2014 has already been a huge year for my brand having shown at Printsource, New York & securing new licensing deals. We are also about to launch our brand new portfolio at Surtex 2014. You can see previous portfolio work in my ‘Pattern & Illustration Look Book’ on Blurb.

I’m also thrilled about the launch of my first ever book; ’20 Ways to Draw a Doodle’! Currently available on pre-order (official release June 5th!)

I have also been super lucky to have worked with some wonderful international clients & companies, examples include: teNeues, Hallmark, Tigerprint, Top Flight, Quarry Books, Artscase, Wallpaper Republic & Summer Infant.

& the always fab DENY Designs who I have just launched my brand new ‘Feather Collection’ with.

I have also been blessed to be the co-founder of ‘The Art and Business of Surface Pattern Design’ working on the 4 unique modules that we offer as part of Make it in Design. Through the success of the e-course I have also been able to co-found & launch MOYO Magazine, the world’s first ever online magazine dedicated to surface pattern design. From this stemmed the MOYO Directory, a revolutionary site that brings together surface pattern designers from across the globe.

Most recently, I have also been honoured to work with the Teenage Cancer Trust on a small project with some of the young patients at LGI (Leeds General Infirmary). Working one on one with these amazing young people, I helped them to create their very own designs & to have them printed & manufactured to have them for their very own!
